Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2, 2026

Welcome! These terms explain the simple rules for using Rosie. We've tried to write them in plain English with no confusing legal jargon. By using Rosie, you're agreeing to what's below.

1 What Rosie is

Rosie is a friendly assistant that lives on your computer and answers your tech questions in plain, everyday language. Rosie is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) — meaning a computer program writes the answers, not a live person.

Rosie is here to help and explain things gently, but Rosie is not a replacement for a professional when something serious is going on with your money, your health, or your security.

2 Your free trial

Everyone gets to ask Rosie 3 questions for free, no payment needed. This lets you try Rosie out and see if she's a good fit before deciding anything. After your free questions are used up, you'll be invited to subscribe to keep chatting.

3 Subscription & billing

Rosie costs $7.99 per month. When you subscribe, here's what you should know:

4 Canceling is easy

You can cancel anytime, right inside the Rosie app — there are no contracts and no cancellation fees. When you cancel, your subscription ends immediately and you won't be charged again. Please note that your access to Rosie stops at the moment you cancel rather than continuing to the end of the month.

Because Rosie is a digital service you can use right away, we generally don't offer refunds for time already passed. If something went wrong, though, please email us — we're reasonable people and we want you to be happy.

5 Using Rosie kindly

When you use Rosie, you agree to a few common-sense things:

Please remember: Rosie does her best, but AI can sometimes get things wrong or misunderstand. Always double-check before doing anything important — especially anything involving your bank, passwords, personal information, or money. When in doubt, ask a trusted family member or a professional before acting.

6 Your privacy

We take your privacy seriously and only collect what we need to make Rosie work. The details of what we collect and how we protect it are explained in our Privacy Policy. By using Rosie, you're also agreeing to that policy.

7 When Rosie isn't available

We work hard to keep Rosie running smoothly, but sometimes the service may be down for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We can't promise Rosie will be available every single moment, and we're not responsible for occasional interruptions.

8 Our responsibility

Rosie is provided "as is." While we genuinely care about helping you, we can't be held legally responsible for any losses, damages, or decisions that result from using Rosie or relying on her answers. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past month.

9 Changes to these terms

Sometimes we may need to update these terms — for example, if we add new features. When we make an important change, we'll let you know. Continuing to use Rosie after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10 Getting in touch
